ALL LEVEL MAT YOGA
This class is suitable for the beginner or those who desire a deeper concentration within their practice. Emphasis placed on safe alignment and breath; there will be various styles from Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Iyengar. Expect to gain strength, core stability, improved posture, and overall mindfulness.
Beginner friendly and NO experience required. You will move through practice at your own pace and comfort level. Taking the best of both worlds and meshing them together with creativity while maintaining the integrity that each practice instills. Expect to weave back and forth from mat yoga to aerial yoga; using the aerial silks for grounding, strengthening, and stretching. Hammock is used to deepen backbends, heart openers, and all over stretching; it is also extremely effective in building core strength. There will be focus on our breath with movement flow. Ideal for anyone looking to explore and/or supplement their mat practice while having fun challenging themselves mentally and physically.
POWER MAT YOGA
The Power Mat Yoga session is for the brand new beginner to experienced yogi. Customized to suit your personal goals; rather it is for medical benefits, weight management, and/or wanting to achieve more peace in your life!
In this class we will use a chair to modify poses while still receiving the benefits of deepening flexibility, strengthening the body and mind, and strengthening proprioception. Chair yoga is great for seniors or anyone looking to change up their yoga practice (it’s nice to get out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself)!
This type of yoga may help people with high blood pressure, osteoporosis, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, depression, and anxiety just to name a few.
AERIAL YOGA WORKSHOP
Aerial Yoga Workshop is a prerequisite for Aerial Yoga class. It is a 45 minute workshop detailing safety, poses, do’s & don’t, and much more to prepare the student for this dynamic practice. We will offer pop-up workshops each week at different times to meet everyone’s availability. Contact us to schedule your appointment today!
KIDS AERIAL YOGA
This 60 minute class is for ages 6-12. Be prepared to have FUN as we learn to invert (hang upside down) and move our bodies in different ways to make them stronger and more confident! This practice also strengthens the mind and its very self-esteem building.
